BUNGALOWS - everyone wants one BUT

As a New Home and Resale Home Realtor® I receive atleast a couple of calls per week for a bungalow.

Single storey home with or without basement development and a garage is a must.

Prices range from $240,000 all the way up to $800,000 (sometimes more) for a bungalow.  When people see the price tag on some they run.  Why is it so much when I can get a two storey for less.

Well, basically it comes down to lot size (normally lots have to be wider to accommodate the larger foundation)

So THAT price is more.  More cement is needed to make the foundation so THAT price is more and the builders charge a higher dollar amount of bungalows so THAT price is more.  (roof, siding, and materals)

Depending on the community, there may be more bungalows along the streets.  BUT still TWO STOREY homes dominate the neighborhoods.

 THERE are bungalows for every budget - you may have to do some TLC or look at a smaller square footage.

BUT I'm sure I can find you that home you're looking for.
